# Ingredients:

→ Wet Ingredients

01 - 2 ripe bananas, mashed
02 - 60 ml unsalted butter, melted
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Dry Ingredients

05 - 100 g brown sugar
06 - 50 g granulated sugar
07 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
08 - 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
09 - 0.25 teaspoon salt
10 - 190 g all-purpose flour

→ Add-ins

11 - 85 g chocolate chips, semi-sweet or dark
12 - 30 g chopped walnuts or pecans, optional

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C. Line a muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease each cup.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, blend mashed bananas with melted butter until smooth.
03 - Stir in brown sugar and granulated sugar until fully incorporated. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until mixture is fluffy and uniform.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk together baking soda, baking powder, salt, and all-purpose flour.
05 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing; some small lumps are acceptable.
06 - Gently fold in chocolate chips and, if using, chopped walnuts or pecans.
07 - Divide batter evenly among muffin cups, filling each approximately two-thirds full.
08 - Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center emerges clean.
09 - Allow muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

# Notes:

01 - Do not overmix the batter to ensure tender muffins with a delicate crumb.
