Banana Bread Brownies Fusion (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Wet Ingredients

01 - 2 ripe bananas, mashed
02 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
03 - 1 cup brown sugar
04 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Dry Ingredients

07 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
08 - 1/3 cup cocoa powder
09 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
10 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

→ Optional Add-ins

11 - 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
12 - 1/2 cup chocolate chips

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter. Whisk until smooth. Add both brown and granulated sugars, mixing until well combined.
03 - Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until evenly combined.
05 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing to maintain proper texture.
06 - If using, gently fold the nuts and/or chocolate chips into the batter until evenly distributed.
07 - Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly using a spatula.
08 - Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
09 - Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
10 - Use the parchment paper to lift the brownies out of the pan. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.

# Notes:

01 - For extra flavor, toast the nuts before adding them to the batter.
02 - The brownies will continue to set as they cool, so don't worry if they seem slightly underdone when removed from the oven.
