# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 23 cm (9-inch) round cake pan or line with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, combine black sesame paste and granulated sugar until well blended. Beat in eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated. Stir in vegetable oil, buttermilk, and vanilla extract until smooth. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
03 - In another bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in buttermilk and vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
