Cheddar Biscuits (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 tablespoon baking powder
03 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
04 - 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed

05 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
06 - 1/2 cup milk

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
02 - Add cold cubed butter to the flour mixture. Using a pastry cutter or two knives, cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
03 - Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and milk until a soft dough forms.
04 - Drop spoonfuls of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

01 - For extra flavor, brush the tops with melted butter mixed with garlic powder after baking.
