01 -
Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate each roll. Cut each roll into quarters to create bite-sized pieces. Set aside on a plate.
02 -
In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, sugar (if using), and salt until smooth and well combined.
03 -
Dip each piece of cinnamon roll dough into the egg mixture, ensuring they are fully coated. Allow them to soak for a few seconds, then remove with a fork, letting excess custard drip off.
04 -
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and allow it to melt and bubble without browning.
05 -
Once butter is hot, add half of the coated cinnamon roll bites to the pan without overcrowding. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and thoroughly cooked.
06 -
Add the remaining tablespoon of butter to the pan and cook the second batch following the same method.
07 -
Transfer the cooked bites to a serving plate. Drizzle with maple syrup, dust with powdered sugar, and garnish with fresh fruit if desired.
