Creamy Leek Gratin (Print Version)

01 - 4 leeks, trimmed and sliced
02 - 60 ml heavy cream
03 - 60 g Gruyère cheese, grated
04 - 2 tablespoons butter
05 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). In a skillet, sauté leeks in butter over medium heat until soft and slightly translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
02 - Transfer the sautéed leeks to a baking dish. Pour heavy cream evenly over the leeks and season with salt and pepper.
03 - Sprinkle grated Gruyère cheese over the top and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.

01 - For best results, choose fresh, firm leeks and wash thoroughly to remove any sand or grit between the layers.
