→ For Cooking

12 - Vegetable oil for deep frying

# Instructions:

01 - In a large bowl, combine ground pork (or chicken), shredded carrots, chopped green beans, chopped onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, black pepper, salt, sesame oil, and cilantro (if using). Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
02 - Lay a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner pointing towards you (diamond shape). Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling near the corner closest to you. Fold the corner over the filling, tuck, and roll tightly halfway. Fold the left and right corners inwards to create an envelope shape, then continue rolling until sealed. Use a little water to seal the tip if needed. Repeat for the remaining filling and wrappers.
03 - Heat about 5 cm of oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Carefully add the lumpia in batches (avoid overcrowding) and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to remove the lumpia from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
04 - Serve hot with a side of sweet chili sauce or vinegar dip for extra flavor.

# Notes:

01 - Lumpia can be prepared ahead of time and frozen before frying. Place uncooked rolls in a single layer on a baking sheet, freeze until solid, then transfer to a freezer bag.
02 - For best results, ensure filling is cool before wrapping to prevent tearing the wrappers.
