Funnel Cake Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Batter

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1½ teaspoons baking powder
03 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
04 - ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
05 - ¼ teaspoon salt
06 - 1½ cups milk
07 - ¼ cup granulated sugar
08 - 2 large eggs
09 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

→ For Frying and Finishing

10 - Vegetable oil for frying
11 - Powdered sugar for dusting

# Instructions:

01 - Beat eggs until foamy, then incorporate milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
02 - In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and granulated sugar.
03 - Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until smooth and free of lumps.
04 - In a deep pot or skillet, heat vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C). Use a thermometer for accuracy.
05 - Using a tablespoon, carefully drop small portions of batter into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side.
06 - Remove bites with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. While still warm, generously dust with powdered sugar.
