Golden Honey Garlic Roasted Carrots (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Vegetables

01 - Carrots, peeled and cut into thirds (2 pounds)

→ Honey Garlic Butter Sauce

02 - Salted butter (4 tablespoons)
03 - Fresh garlic, minced (4 cloves)
04 - Honey (2 tablespoons)
05 - Smoked paprika (¼ teaspoon)
06 - Salt (½ teaspoon)
07 - Black pepper (¼ teaspoon)

→ Garnish

08 - Fresh parsley, chopped (2 tablespoons)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 425°F. Spray a large rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
02 - Add minced garlic to melted butter and cook 30 seconds. Stir in honey, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Add carrots and toss in glaze, letting them sit 1-2 minutes.
03 - Transfer carrots to prepared baking sheet using tongs, keeping sauce in skillet. Roast for 20 minutes.
04 - While carrots roast, reduce remaining sauce in skillet for 2 minutes. After 20 minutes, toss carrots in reduced sauce and roast additional 5-7 minutes until tender. Optional: broil for final 30 seconds for extra browning.
05 - Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

# Notes:

01 - If using unsalted butter, add an extra ¼-½ teaspoon salt to taste.
02 - Final broiling step is optional but adds nice caramelization.
