01 -
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a wire rack over the foil for the wings to crisp up.
02 -
In a blender or food processor, combine the diced mango, habanero peppers, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lime juice, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and well combined.
03 -
Rinse and pat dry the chicken wings with paper towels to help them crisp in the oven. Place them in a large bowl.
04 -
Pour half of the mango-habanero glaze over the chicken wings, tossing them until evenly coated. Reserve the remaining glaze for later.
05 -
Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
06 -
In the last 5 minutes of baking, brush the wings with the reserved glaze and bake for an additional 5 minutes to caramelize the glaze and enhance flavor.
07 -
Remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped cilantro if desired and serve with lime wedges on the side.
