Crockpot Maple Dijon Pork Chops (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 4 boneless pork chops

→ Sauce

02 - 125 ml pure maple syrup
03 - 60 ml Dijon mustard
04 - 60 ml chicken broth
05 - 15 ml apple cider vinegar
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced

→ Seasonings

07 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
08 - Fresh thyme sprigs, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Season pork chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides. Place them in the bottom of the slow cooker.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, and minced garlic until well combined.
03 - Pour the maple Dijon sauce over the pork chops, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until pork is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 63°C.
04 - Transfer the pork chops to serving plates and spoon additional sauce from the slow cooker over them. Garnish with fresh thyme sprigs before serving.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, use thick-cut pork chops that won't dry out during the long cooking process.
02 - The sauce can be reduced on the stovetop if you prefer a thicker consistency.
