Outrageous Garlic Cheese Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread Base

01 - 1 large loaf of sourdough bread

→ Garlic Butter Spread

02 - 115g unsalted butter, softened
03 - 6 cloves of garlic, minced
04 - 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1 teaspoon sea salt
07 - 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

→ Cheese Topping

08 - 200g shredded mozzarella cheese
09 - 50g grated Parmesan cheese
10 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
11 - Extra parsley for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 190°C.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, garlic powder, sea salt, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
03 - Cut the sourdough loaf in half lengthwise. For better cheese distribution, make diagonal slices across the top without cutting all the way through.
04 - Generously spread the garlic butter mixture over both bread halves, ensuring complete coverage.
05 - Liberally sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the buttered bread, pressing slightly to ensure it adheres.
06 - Evenly distribute the Italian seasoning over the cheese layer.
07 - Transfer the prepared bread halves to a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly with golden, crispy edges.
08 - For extra crispiness, broil for the final 2-3 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
09 - Remove from oven, let cool slightly, garnish with additional chopped parsley, slice, and serve warm.
