# Ingredients:

→ Calabrian Chili Butter

01 - Salted butter, softened (6 tablespoons)
02 - Fresh garlic cloves (4-5)
03 - Tomato paste (2 teaspoons)
04 - Calabrian pepper paste (1-3 tablespoons)
05 - Fresh parsley (2 tablespoons)
06 - Fresh lemon zest (from 1 lemon)
07 - Fresh lemon juice (1 tablespoon)
08 - Black pepper (¼ teaspoon)
09 - Hot paprika (¼ teaspoon)

→ Main Ingredients

10 - Shrimp, peeled and deveined (1 pound)
11 - Linguine or fettuccine (10 ounces)
12 - Parmesan cheese, shaved for serving

# Instructions:

01 - Combine all butter ingredients in a food processor and pulse until well combined into a whipped butter. Set aside or refrigerate for later use.
02 - Heat a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat. Melt 2 tablespoons of the prepared chili butter and cook shrimp until they form a 'C' shape. Remove to a plate and keep warm, leaving the skillet unwashed.
03 - Boil pasta in well-salted water until al dente, reserving 1 cup pasta water before draining. In the same shrimp skillet over medium-low heat, combine pasta, 3 tablespoons chili butter, and a splash of pasta water. Toss until heated through, adding more water as needed to create a sauce.
04 - Add shrimp back to the pasta and toss to combine. Serve hot topped with shaved parmesan cheese.

# Notes:

01 - Adjust Calabrian chili paste to taste: 1 tablespoon for mild, 2 for medium-hot, 3 for extra spicy.
02 - Can substitute additional tomato paste for some chili paste if desired.
