Chocolate Covered Strawberries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 10 ounces Ghirardelli Baking Chips (bittersweet, semi-sweet, or milk chocolate).
02 - 2 pounds fresh strawberries with stems attached.

# Instructions:

01 - Wash strawberries and dry them completely to ensure chocolate will stick.
02 - Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and set out any desired toppings on small plates.
03 - Using double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, melt chocolate while stirring frequently to prevent burning.
04 - Hold each strawberry by stem, dip in chocolate, twist to let excess drip off.
05 - If desired, immediately dip chocolate-covered strawberry in toppings.
06 - Place on parchment paper and chill for 15 minutes until chocolate sets.

# Notes:

01 - Can use different chocolate types.
02 - Make sure berries are completely dry.
03 - Optional toppings include nuts and coconut.
