In a large mixing bowl, add all-purpose flour, fine salt, ground black pepper, sweet paprika, dried thyme, dried basil, dried oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, monosodium glutamate if using, and ground cayenne pepper.

Fry a sample of chicken coated with approximately 15 milliliters of seasoning blend mixed into flour to check flavor balance. Adjust spices if desired.

Pour the fully mixed seasoning blend into an airtight container. Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight.

For coating chicken or other proteins, use approximately 15 milliliters of seasoning blend for every 125 grams of flour for dredging or batter preparation.
