Easy Creamy Beef and Shells (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 ounces medium uncooked shells.
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil.
03 - ½ medium onion, chopped.
04 - 1 pound lean ground beef.
05 - 3 cloves garlic, minced.
06 - 1 teaspoon chili powder.
07 - 1 (14 ounce) can tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes.
08 - ⅓ cup beef broth.
09 - ¼ cup heavy/whipping cream.
10 - Salt & pepper to taste.

# Instructions:

01 - Boil pasta according to package directions until al dente.
02 - Sauté onion in olive oil for 5 minutes. Add beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Drain excess fat.
03 - Add garlic and chili powder. Stir in tomato sauce and broth. Simmer 4-5 minutes until slightly reduced.
04 - Stir in cream and season with salt and pepper. Warm through then toss with drained pasta.
