02 - Fresh garlic, minced (14 cloves)

→ Seasonings

03 - Kosher salt (½ teaspoon)
04 - White pepper (⅛ teaspoon)

# Instructions:

01 - Pour ½-1 inch of high-heat oil into a large skillet and heat to 350°F over medium-high heat.
02 - Working in batches, carefully fry green beans for 1-2 minutes until vibrant green and blistered. Remove with a slotted spoon to paper towels.

04 - Add minced garlic to oil and cook on low for 2-5 minutes. Increase heat to medium-high for 30 seconds until golden brown. Reserve 1 tablespoon of fried garlic for garnish.
05 - Return green beans to skillet, add salt, white pepper, and chicken bouillon. Toss well to combine. Serve warm, topped with reserved fried garlic.

# Notes:

01 - For a vegetarian/vegan version, substitute MSG for chicken bouillon powder.
02 - This recipe recreates the popular Din Tai Fung restaurant side dish.
