Garlic Butter Steak Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Proteins

01 - 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

→ Vegetables

02 - 2 cups baby potatoes, halved
03 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
04 - Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

→ Herbs & Seasonings

05 - 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)
06 - 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)
07 - Salt and pepper, to taste
08 - Optional: a squeeze of fresh lemon juice

→ Fats & Oils

09 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
10 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

# Instructions:

01 - In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and add the halved baby potatoes. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until tender. Drain and set aside.
02 - In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak bites in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time for your preferred doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.
04 - Add the cooked steak bites back to the skillet along with the boiled potatoes. Gently toss everything in the garlic butter sauce until well-coated. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through, and adjust seasoning if necessary.
05 - Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley and an optional squeeze of lemon juice for brightness. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, bring the steak to room temperature before cooking and pat dry with paper towels to ensure optimal searing.
