Easy Homemade Buffalo Chips (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Basic Chips

01 - 2 Russet potatoes, thinly sliced
02 - 1/2 tablespoon cooking oil (canola, avocado, or olive oil)
03 - 1/2 tablespoon all purpose seasoning (McCormick Kick'n Chicken recommended)

→ Buffalo Variation

04 - 1 tablespoon Frank's Buffalo Sauce
05 - 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat.
02 - Using a mandoline, slice potatoes to 1/8 inch thickness (1/4 inch for buffalo version). Toss slices with oil in a bowl, ensuring even coating. Add seasonings and distribute evenly.
03 - Arrange potato slices on lined baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, flip, and cook additional 5 minutes until golden brown. For buffalo version, cook 12 minutes before flipping.
04 - For buffalo chips, allow to cool and crisp, then top with cheese and buffalo sauce. Broil briefly until cheese melts.

# Notes:

01 - Watch carefully as cooking times may vary by oven and altitude
02 - Let chips cool completely to achieve maximum crispiness
03 - Buffalo version requires thicker slices and longer cooking time
