Imitation Crab Pasta Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb. dry pasta (I usually use bowtie or rotini).
02 - 12 - 16 oz. imitation crab, torn into small pieces.
03 - 1 cup mayonnaise.
04 - ½ cup buttermilk.
05 - 1 lemon, juiced.
06 - 1 teaspoon onion powder.
07 - 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced.
08 - ½ teaspoon seasoned salt (I use Lawry's).
09 - 2 tablespoons chopped parsley.
10 - 2 Tbsp. sugar (optional, good with or without).
11 - Salt & Pepper, to taste + for pasta water.
12 - 4 green onions, thinly sliced (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Boil pasta in salted water until done, rinse with cold water and let cool completely.
02 - Break imitation crab into small, bite-sized pieces.
03 - Mix mayo, buttermilk, garlic, lemon juice and all seasonings in a large bowl.
04 - Add crab meat to dressing, then mix in cooled pasta until well coated.
05 - Add green onions if using, then chill at least one hour before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Makes a large batch - perfect for families.
02 - Can use milk with lemon juice instead of buttermilk.
03 - Best chilled for at least an hour before serving.
04 - Green onions are optional.
