Quick Korean Beef Rice Bowls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
02 - 2 cups cooked white or brown rice

→ Sauce

03 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
04 - 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
05 - 1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
06 - 2 teaspoons sesame oil
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
08 - 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
09 - 1/4 teaspoon pepper

→ Garnish

10 - Sliced green onions
11 - Sesame seeds

# Instructions:

01 - Cook ground beef and garlic in large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles. Drain excess grease.
02 - Whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper flakes, and pepper in a small bowl.
03 - Pour sauce over beef and simmer for 1-2 minutes. Serve over hot rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
