Lavender Spritz Cocktail (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cocktail

01 - Lavender simple syrup, 1 oz (30ml)
02 - Prosecco or sparkling wine, 2 oz (60ml)
03 - Soda water, 1 oz (30ml)
04 - Fresh lemon juice, ½ oz (15ml)
05 - Ice cubes

→ Lavender Simple Syrup

06 - Water, 1 cup
07 - Granulated sugar, 1 cup
08 - Dried culinary lavender buds, 2 tablespoons

→ Garnish

09 - Fresh lavender sprig
10 - Lemon slice

# Instructions:

01 - Combine water, sugar, and lavender buds in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves, bring to simmer, then remove from heat and steep for 10-15 minutes.
02 - Strain through fine-mesh sieve to remove lavender buds and let cool.
03 - Fill wine glass with ice, add lavender syrup and lemon juice. Pour in prosecco, then top with soda water.
04 - Gently stir to combine, keeping bubbles intact. Garnish with lavender sprig and lemon slice.

# Notes:

01 - Lavender syrup can be stored refrigerated for up to 2 weeks
02 - Can be made non-alcoholic by replacing prosecco with sparkling water
03 - Adjust sweetness by varying amount of lavender syrup
