Marry Me Chicken Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Boneless skinless chicken - 1 1/2 pounds.
02 - Penne pasta - 10 ounces.
03 - Salt - 1/2 teaspoon.
04 - Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon.
05 - Olive oil - 1 tablespoon.
06 - Butter - 3 tablespoons.
07 - Garlic, minced - 2 teaspoons.
08 - All-purpose flour - 3 tablespoons.
09 - Chicken broth - 2 cups.
10 - Heavy cream - 1 cup.
11 - Parmesan cheese, grated - 1 cup.
12 - Sun-dried tomatoes, drained - 1 cup.
13 - Paprika - 1 teaspoon.
14 - Italian seasoning - 2 teaspoons.
15 - Fresh basil for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Prepare penne according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
02 - Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Cook in oil 6-8 minutes until done.
03 - Melt butter and cook garlic 30 seconds. Stir in flour to make paste.
04 - Whisk in broth, cream, and cheese. Add tomatoes and seasonings. Simmer until thick.
05 - Return chicken to pan with pasta. Stir to coat with sauce.
06 - Garnish with fresh basil and extra cheese if desired.
