Easy Old School Pizza Burgers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1 cup pizza sauce
03 - 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

→ Assembly

04 - 6 burger buns
05 - 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven going at 350°F (175°C) - this'll make sure everything gets nice and melty.
02 - Toss your ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook until it's nicely browned. Pour off any extra fat that's collected in the pan.
03 - Sprinkle in that Italian seasoning and stir in your pizza sauce. Let it bubble away until it thickens up a bit.
04 - Split those burger buns and lay them out on a baking sheet, cut sides facing up.
05 - Spoon your meat mixture onto each bun half, cover with plenty of shredded cheddar, and pop them in the oven for about 12 minutes until everything's hot and the cheese is bubbly.

# Notes:

01 - Can swap cheddar for mozzarella if you want that classic pizza taste
02 - Feel free to add your favorite pizza toppings like pepperoni or olives
03 - Leftovers keep well for 3 days in the fridge
