Pepper Steak (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound beef steak (sirloin, flank, or ribeye), sliced thin.
02 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce.
03 - 1 tablespoon oyster sauce.
04 - 1 teaspoon cornstarch.
05 - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil.
06 - 1 red bell pepper, sliced.
07 - 1 green bell pepper, sliced.
08 - 1 onion, sliced.
09 - 2 garlic cloves, minced.
10 - 1 teaspoon ginger, grated.
11 - ΒΌ cup beef broth or water.
12 - Salt and pepper to taste.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch in a bowl. Add beef slices and coat well. Let sit for 15 minutes.
02 - Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large pan over high heat. Cook beef in one layer until brown, about 2 minutes per side. Remove from pan.
03 - Add remaining oil to pan. Cook peppers and onion for 4 minutes until crisp-tender.
04 - Stir in garlic and ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
05 - Return beef to pan. Add broth and stir everything together. Cook 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.

01 - Slice beef against the grain for tenderness.
02 - Best served fresh over rice.
