Easy Sticky Asian Glazed Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Chicken

01 - Thinly sliced chicken breasts or boneless thighs (1 pound)
02 - Olive oil (1 tablespoon)
03 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ For the Sticky Glaze

04 - Brown sugar (¾ cup)
05 - Soy sauce (⅓ cup)
06 - Hoisin sauce (2 tablespoons)
07 - Sweet chili sauce (1 tablespoon)
08 - Fresh ginger, peeled and grated (1 tablespoon)
09 - Dried red pepper flakes to taste
10 - Minced garlic (½ teaspoon)
11 - Fresh lime juice from one lime

# Instructions:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for about 3 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
02 - Remove chicken from skillet. In the same pan, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sweet chili sauce, ginger, red pepper flakes, garlic, and lime juice. Bring to a boil and cook 1-2 minutes until thickened.
03 - Return chicken to skillet and coat each piece thoroughly with the sticky glaze. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.

01 - Chicken thighs can be substituted for breasts
02 - Sauce will continue to thicken as it cools
