Strawberry Cheesecake Fried Sandwiches (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sandwiches

01 - 8 slices of bread
02 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
03 - 1 cup of strawberries, finely chopped
04 - 1/4 cup powdered sugar
05 - 1 cup softened cream cheese

→ Coating

06 - 1/2 cup milk
07 - 2 large eggs
08 - Oil to fry
09 - 1 cup breadcrumbs

→ Serving (Optional)

10 - Chocolate drizzle
11 - A sprinkle of powdered sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Start by mixing the powdered sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla together in a bowl until you get a nice smooth texture. Gently fold in your strawberries so they're evenly spread throughout.
02 - Take four slices of bread and spread the creamy mixture across them evenly. Lay the other four slices on top, and lightly press them together to form sandwiches.
03 - In one shallow dish, stir the eggs and milk together until mixed. In another shallow dish, spread the breadcrumbs out flat.
04 - Dip a sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides well. Then press it into the breadcrumbs, flipping it so the whole thing gets covered.
05 - Heat oil in a big frying pan over medium heat. Cook each sandwich until both sides are a crispy golden color—this should take about two or three minutes per side. Place them on paper towels to soak up any extra oil.
06 - Serve these delicious sandwiches while they're warm. Add powdered sugar on top or drizzle some chocolate if you'd like!

# Notes:

01 - Any bread works, but softer options like challah or brioche make it even better
02 - Be sure the cream cheese is soft for smooth blending
03 - Fresh strawberries are best, but thawed frozen ones will work in a pinch
