Heat oven to 450°F and spray your muffin pan with cooking spray.

Put 2-3 tots in each mini muffin cup, or 4-5 tots for regular size cups.

Place pan on bottom rack and bake 10 minutes until tots start to soften.

Press tots with a greased shot glass using a twisting motion to create potato cups.

Return to oven for 15 minutes until cups are deep golden brown.

Fill each cup with cheese and bake 4-5 minutes until melted.

Let cool 5 minutes, then top with sour cream, bacon, and green onions.
