Valentine's Day Cupcakes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chocolate Cupcakes

01 - ½ cup vegetable oil
02 - ¾ cups warm coffee
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 2 teaspoons vanilla
05 - 1½ cups all-purpose flour
06 - 1 cup granulated sugar
07 - 6 tablespoons cocoa powder
08 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
09 - ½ teaspoon baking powder
10 - ½ teaspoon salt

→ Strawberry Buttercream

11 - 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
12 - 3 cups powdered sugar
13 - 1 cup freeze dried strawberries
14 - 3 tablespoons milk, plus more as needed
15 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
16 - ½ teaspoon salt

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line cupcake pan with liners.
02 - Whisk together oil, warm coffee, egg, and vanilla until combined.
03 - Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add to wet ingredients and whisk until combined.
04 - Fill liners 2/3 full. Bake 18-22 minutes until springy when pressed. Cool completely.
05 - Beat butter until fluffy. Add powdered sugar gradually. Mix in strawberries, milk, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Adjust consistency with milk if needed. Pipe onto cooled cupcakes.
