Cheesy Pizza Lava Toast (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Garlic Butter

01 - 2 tablespoons salted butter, softened
02 - 2 teaspoons minced garlic
03 - ½ teaspoon dried oregano
04 - ¼ teaspoon dried basil
05 - ¼ teaspoon salt
06 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder

→ Toast Base

07 - 4 large bread slices (white or brown)
08 - 2 slices cheddar cheese
09 - ½ cup pizza sauce
10 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

→ Toppings

11 - Mini pepperoni slices
12 - Sliced mushrooms
13 - Cubed bell peppers
14 - Sliced black olives
15 - Red pepper flakes for garnish
16 - Dried oregano for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven hot and ready at 375°F (190°C).
02 - Mix together the softened butter with minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper until you've got a smooth, fragrant spread.
03 - Spread your bread slices on a baking sheet, butter them up with your garlic mixture, and pop them in the middle rack for about 5 minutes until they're getting golden.
04 - Flip two of the toasted slices over, top each with cheddar cheese, then cover with the remaining slices (butter side down). Press down in the middle to make a nice hollow for your toppings.
05 - Fill that hollow with pizza sauce, pile on the shredded mozzarella, and add your favorite toppings.
06 - Back in the oven for 8-10 minutes until everything's melty, then switch to broil for 1-2 minutes to get that perfect golden top. Finish with a sprinkle of red pepper flakes and oregano.
