Caprese Salad with Balsamic (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 large ripe tomatoes, sliced
02 - 12 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
03 - 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
04 - 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
05 - Salt, to taste
06 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
07 - 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze (store-bought or homemade)

# Instructions:

01 - On a serving platter or large plate, arrange alternating slices of tomato and mozzarella in a circular pattern or layered row.
02 - Tuck basil leaves in between the tomato and mozzarella slices.
03 - Drizzle the extra-virgin olive oil evenly over the salad.
04 - Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
05 - Finish with a drizzle of balsamic glaze across the top.
06 - Serve immediately at room temperature for best flavor.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, use room temperature ingredients and serve immediately after assembly.
