08 - 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
09 - 1 egg, whisked to give your calzones that golden touch

→ For Dipping (Optional)

10 - Warm marinara sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Cut your pizza dough into 4 even pieces and roll them out on a surface with a little flour dusted on it. Each piece should stretch into a 6-inch circle—just the right size to hold all your tasty fillings.
02 - Take a medium-sized mixing bowl and throw in the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Stir it all up until it’s perfectly blended.
03 - Scoop out about 2-3 tablespoons of the yummy filling and place it on one side of each dough circle. Be sure to leave a little room along the edge, so you can seal it later.
04 - Fold the empty half of the dough over the filled side, making a shape like a half-moon. Press the edges together and then crimp them neatly with a fork to keep all that goodness inside.
05 - Use the beaten egg to lightly coat the tops of your calzones. It'll make them shine beautifully after cooking!
06 - Warm up your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the calzones inside, leaving enough space between them so they cook evenly. Let them air fry for 10-12 minutes until they’re a lovely golden brown. If they don’t all fit, fry them in batches.
07 - Give your calzones a few minutes to rest after you take them out. This helps set the filling and saves your mouth from burns! Serve hot, paired with marinara sauce for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - Sprinkle a little extra Italian seasoning on top before cooking for some extra flavor
02 - You can mix things up by adding in extras like cooked spinach or sautéed mushrooms
03 - Make sure to seal the edges properly—no one wants the filling leaking out while it’s cooking
