Strawberry Blended Baked Oats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Baked Oats

01 - 1 ½ cups old fashioned rolled oats, gluten-free if necessary
02 - ¼ teaspoon salt
03 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
04 - ⅔ cup milk or nondairy milk
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
07 - ¼ cup strawberry jam

→ For the Optional Frosting

08 - 1/3 cup powdered sugar
09 - 1 tablespoon milk
10 - ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
11 - Colorful sprinkles (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 7.5x6-inch rectangular baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
02 - In a blender or food processor, pulse the old fashioned oats until they are a fine, flour-like consistency.
03 - Add salt, baking powder, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract to the blender. Pulse until combined, ensuring the mixture remains slightly thick.
04 - Add half the batter to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly with a spatula. Pour the strawberry jam on top, spreading carefully while leaving an edge of the oats visible. Top with the remaining batter and spread evenly.
05 - Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until the edges are golden brown. Remove and allow to cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
06 - Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread over the cooled oats and top with colorful sprinkles if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Process oats into a fine, flour-like consistency for better texture.
02 - Spread the first layer of batter evenly before adding the jam to prevent uneven baking.
03 - Avoid over-baking; remove the oats when edges turn golden brown.
